Best Ever Banana Bread

Ingredients 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1-1/2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 large eggs, room temperature

– 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed (1 cup) – 1/2 cup canola oil – 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon buttermilk – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 cup chopped walnuts, optional

1. In a big bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. 2. In another bowl, mix eggs, mashed bananas, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla.

1. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ones, stirring until just mixed. If you like, add nuts. 2. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined 9x5-inch loaf pan

Bake for about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center 

Let the loaf cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. 

Each slice contains approximately 257 calories, 13g fat (1g saturated fat), 23mg cholesterol, 171mg sodium, 34g carbohydrate (21g sugars, 1g fiber), and 4g protein.
